Scowling, Marlene clutched her firewhiskey tighter. “Get your own, Rein, she scoffed. As if she’d share with Hunter Rein! Well, that and the bottle was empty. The already drunk Gryffindor dropped the empty bottle on a bench, just in time to grab the flask Kyn thrust in her direction. “Thanks, dear! But don’t say that about Ali. She’s not fat!” House loyalty showing through. She took a deep swig, then passed it on to Ollie and mounted her broom.
“I’m going to enjoy beating you, and the boys, Ludo, Mar laughed, kicking off. Ludo merely shook his head in response. There were so many Slytherins about, she could understand Emma, but what was Hunter doing here? Surely there were more qualified people. Peter? Even Peter was better than a Slytherin. At least he wouldn’t demand that they stop drinking.
“Okay! Let’s go! But first, some fire whiskey! Ollie, share with Callie!” Mar allowed herself to lazily float higher and higher. She wasn’t needed immediately anyway. Ludo, on the other hand, was off like a shot to his post.
“Make it good, Vin.” Ludo shouted to his best friend from his post in front of the goals. Time to shine! And show those girls how it was played.
“Alright, Lily, Alice?” Mar was zipping around, flinging her bat around like a madwoman. “Don’t worry, me and Kyn will protect you!” All her favourite people, on one team! It was a dream come true.

Sirius, forced all the apprehension down and looked over at Hunter with a raised.
"I'm not surprised you thought I was a woman Rien. I'm not sure you'd know what one would like if she danced in front of you naked."
Deciding that it'd be imprudent to stay on the ground after a 'witty' retort, Sirius got a better hold on his bat and kicked off the ground.
The good thing was that flying was much easier then he remembered and he didn't feel as off balance as he worried about. The bad thing was that he'd picked the one position where he'd be swinging something and that DID upset his balance. And it was a harder thing to aim the bat when he was drunk. Doubly hard to make sure he was a) swinging at a bludger not a person and b) failing that, hitting the right person... ie, one not his team. Though he wasn't deliberately aiming at noses or bodies, that seemed to happen just on accident. "Sorry Longbottom!" he bellowed after the second (third? fourth? he had lost count) such incident, at least that time he hadn't connected... hard.

Ollie flew directly to her hoops, ready to defend them against the boys any day. The girls had to have a good solid keeper after all, and Ollie was certainly close to be one of the most fucked up on the team that night. Kyndrick may be drunk, but that was normal wasn't it? And Emma was nervous, but so was Ollie. Things between them would never be the same. And Marlene had been handing everyone the fire whiskey. Well if that was her competition in the "off your rocker" department, she was damn near in first place...So saddling up in front of the middle hoop, her game face on, she pumped her fists into the air. "IF YOU DO THIS RIGHT, I WON'T HAVE TO DO A DAMN THING BUT DRINK TONIGHT!" She laughed and did her best to levitate her last vial of potion into the air and down her throat.
Vinnie wanted that quaffle first. James had to know that he was a terrific player, he had shown him on the pitch in broad daylight many times after all. He sent a glare down at the girls, and a cheerful look at Ludo. As long as he was given the quaffle he knew things would turn out for the best. (Well, for his ego they would.) "Get it to me!" He shouted, and threw a rude gesture towards Ollie.

Alice just sort of stared back at Kyndrick, and after an awkward pause just laughed. "Haha, very funny." but internally she was freaking out. Of course it would be obvious, Alice was pretty skinny to begin with. "I'll pass, Marls." she said, barely being able to rememeber the last time she drank. It wasn't a good experience... She turned to Lily "Remind me again why they're the one's with the bats?" she said, noticing as Olivia took even more to drink. She wanted to speak with Emma, but she had already zoomed off.
Alice frowned. But the game was starting, she took off on her broom and started listening, looking for the little whirring ball with wings that was her target. After tonight, she'd have a much higher appreciation for seekers

Ryan took to the skies and joined the side of the guys team. He grinned feel the rush of the night wind in his hair. This was very exciting to him, and he wanted to enjoy every second. "Let's do this!" The guy waited for the pass of the quaffle from Vinnie. It was a heart racing experience as he flew past and tried to get him way through into a good position for Vinnie to pass.
"Oy Vinnie! Pass it to me!" He yelled. All that he was focusing was on the game. It helped that he was sober, it tightened his focus greatly and he knew that it would give the chasers on his side an advantage for sure.

James caught the quaffle and weighed it in his hands, the familiar weight coupled with the cool night air was sobering him up a bit and he started to feel the pre-game jitters jump from his chest. He has always loved this feeling; the nervousness was slightly calming, if that made any sense. The feeling was familiar and it disappeared once the quaffle was thrown. James was pulled back to the pitch by a familiar and dear voice to him. As Lily moved back cautiously from her kiss james, swung his broom close to her. “Don’t worry Evans, if you fall I’ll find time to catch you after scoring once or twice.” With a wink James pulled back and looked at Callie. “Don’t drop the ball eh?” James lifted his arm to throw the ball up in the air. “Let the game begin” and with a grin, dropped the quaffle.

hunter giggled again, rolling his eyes obnoxiously at marlene. "as if i'd take anything from you anyway!" he replied back, though he probably would have. marlene amused him in her ways of absolutely detesting everything about him. he grinned at ollie and kyndrick, humoured. was everyone as drunk as him? and james and lily, kissing, gross. hunter made a face. "off the grounds" hunter raced away from marlene and hammering up his bat in anticipation when he spotted a bludger heading in his direction. he grinned aiming, nearly missing but smacking the bludger as hard as he could...straight towards ludo.... wait ludo was on his team. though he probably deserved it for being where he was.

Frank could feel the pressure building. He scoured the night for the snitch but knew that things weren’t looking promising. A midnight match wasn’t the best idea when he’d ended up playing seeker. Suddenly, he wondered how he had come up with this idea to begin with.
Kyndrick Laurent couldn’t help but feel like a bit of a shit disturber in these moments of early match chaos. She floated above the crowd, her eyes gleaming mischievously in Mar’s direction. She held her beater’s bat loftily in her hand and watched as the world tilted slightly. Oh, sweet refilling flask!!! It had done her justice!!!! She noticed a bludger brawling in her general direction and Kyn took a quick breath before hitting it directly at her own team mate, Lily Evans. Kyn literally snorted with laughter as Lily just barely dodged out of the way. ”Oops, sorry Evans. Seeing you must have reminded me of Potter and I got super confused.” Kyn giggled lightly before flying off away from Lily.
Callie watched as Kyn hit Lily and came barreling toward the Ravenclaw girl. ”Not your own team mates Kyn. Lily Evans might slip you some kind of creepy potion next time she sees you if you’re not careful.” Callie advised before training her focus back on the game. Emma Logan seemed quite in the game but Callie could tell Lily was only intent on watching James Potter fly. That wasn’t helping them score points. Their quaffle needed to sneak past Ludo in order for them to stand any chance in this match. Callie kept her eyes locked on James as he moved to throw the quaffle. He made some snide remark in retaliation to her words and she stole the quaffle mid-throw. ”Emma!” Callie called out to Em as she got ready to throw the quaffle to her team mate. Being a chaser was all about syncing up with your team mates.
Callie’s call to her dragged Emma out of a partial daze. She’d been focused on the game, yes, but she’d also been wrapped up in thoughts of Ollie. She kept sneaking peeks over at Olivia as she guarded their hoops. She kept wondering if Ollie still remembered. She wanted so badly for Ollie to remember. She wanted to fly over to her and ask her and say, Why? Why can’t we still be close?! Why do things always fall apart?!” But she couldn’t because stupid Callie Moran was passing her the quaffle and she had to fly down the pitch toward Ludo Bagman. Emma held the quaffle and started in the direction of Bagman’s hoops, but her heart wasn’t in it. She was practically ready to hand the quaffle to the boys and call it quits. She didn’t belong there and everyone knew that. She and Hunter were not supposed to be part of any of this.
Still in pure shit disturbing mode, Kyn scoped out the faces of her team mates and opponents to see how this match was really going. She watched as their attention transitioned over to Emma Logan. Kyn couldn’t have that. Emma Logan was an annoying little brat who somehow always snuck under her watch. Kyn noticed another bludger being flung in her direction. She went to hit it toward one of the boys and let go of her beater’s bat. The bat when soaring directly at Callie Moran and hit the girl smack on the head. Callie went tumbling downward. She was going to hit the grass soon.
Lily was a Prefect. This was exactly the kind of thing she was always prepared for. As soon as Callie fell from her broom, Lily had her wand out of her pocket and in her hand. She cast the spell to levitate the girl and slowly bring her to a rest on the grassy earth below. The game was still moving rapidly around her when Lily flew shakily downward. She put a hand up to Callie’s face to make sure she was okay. Callie had a massive bruise on her head and the entire scenario just screamed out HOSPITAL WING!!!! But Lily knew no one was stopping now! Things had just begun. She scowled up at Kyndrick and started dragging Callie over toward the stands where she could leave the girl.

“BLACK!” Ludo bellowed, though no one had asked him to, “SEND THE BLUDGERS TO THE GIRLS YOU IDIOT!” He was finding it harder than he thought he would to stay at the goals. Especially with Sirius flying around trying to maim their seeker. He was clearly too drunk to be a beater. But then, all the beaters were drunk. And he was certain only Kyn could be considered a functioning drunk. But only because she was drunk all the time.
Marlene was exuberant. She wouldn’t have to do any work if Sirius kept this up! She could hang at the goals with Ollie, drinking! “Thanks, Sirius!” she practically cackled as she sent his bludger flying towards Frank, again. Of course, her own aim was heavily impaired by firewhiskey, and it ended up much closer to Emma. “Whoops,” she giggled, winking at Kyn, only slightly sorry. Focus, Mar!
“I’ll get it to you!” Mar shouted to Vinnie, sending a bludger in his general direction. Bludger, quaffle. Same thing, right? Ludo was busy at his end of the pitch, dodging a bludger from Hunter.
“FUCK YOU, REIN!” Forced to duck, since he didn’t have a bat, Ludo barely avoided contact. The bludger bounced off the goal and veered off past Mar, who didn’t even try to hit it. Probably because she was attempting to summon more firewhiskey from her trunk. And failing, obviously. Ludo was thisclose to stealing a bat and showing them all how it’s done. “Get it together!” It was too easy for Ludo to slip into the role of captain.
Ludo completely missed the quaffle from Emma, focusing instead on his injured teammate. Well, she was his teammate usually. “Callie!? Kyn, watch what you’re doing! I need her in perfect shape for next Tuesday!” But Lily was with her, like a medic, so Ludo’s attention was quickly back on the game. Quidditch waited for no one!
“NOW WHO’S GOING TO BE OUR CHASERS?” Marlene screeched. Lily and Callie were down! Now they only had the snake!
But then, suddenly, from the stands...
“I’ll be your chaser!” It was Gracie Davies, terrible quidditch player, and only around because Cas had dragged her along. They were doomed! She was certainly no Callie, and was probably worse than Lily!
Marlene rolled her eyes and shrugged in Alice’s direction. It was her call. She had bludgers to beat! And speaking of... “EAT THIS, KENTWOOD!” Just because he was there, and the bludger was there.
“No, really! I’ll be your chaser!” Gracie was jumping up and down with excitement, like a very eager puppy.
“No!” Ludo shouted from his position at the goals. “I don’t need two chasers down for next match!” But, it wasn’t up to him!
"Please?" Gracie pleaded. It looked like so much fun!

Olivia watch horrified as her teammates, the ones who were equally drunk but not supposed to be equally lazy, were knocking out their own members. She watched Callie filter down to the ground, with Lily's lucky aid, with terrified eyes. Her heart literally stopped. People have died before, she thought to herself, but she shook the thought out of her head and watched Emma Logan flying down the pitch with the quaffle. She looked good from behind. Ollie's intoxicated head cocked to the side and she, herself, started drifting towards the grass below. Marlene's screams jolted her up and out of it, and she gripped her broom handle even tighter. She could do this...as long as Emma didn't let go of that quaffle. Something inside of her was worried, two chasers were gone already and one was flying straight into the biggest hunk of muscles that Hogwarts had ever seen. Ludo could throw Emma through the hoop, that's the reality.
Whatshername got the quaffle first!? Vinnie hovered still for a moment, wracking his brain for her name. She was obviously younger and green to her core, it wasn't surprising that Vinnie just didn't know who she was. He couldn't even see the family resemblance. "Ludo. Fresh meat coming through! GRIND HER UP!" He shouted, and flew off towards the back end of the goals. Ludo would stop her with any number of his amazing tricks, for sure, and send that quaffle sizzling through the air to Vin. He was already visualizing his path down the pitch. But he couldn't just wait for Ludo to work his magic. "Hey freak! Those three rings aren't as big as the ones you're used to at the circus!" Vinnie's heart was black when he was straddling his broom.
Bagman and Mckinnon are keepers. Score zero to zero. Longbottom and Logan are seekers...heaven bless her soul for trying. AND CALLIE IS DOWN IN THE FIRST FEW MINUTES! That'll be harsh in this weeks game. Rita is writing, quickly. Half of her brain is watching the pitch and half of it is listening to Cas' announcements for scores and play-by-plays. Which meant that none of it was actually focusing on writing. That's what she had her quill for. It's straightening out the mess of scribbles that she's putting down. But as exciting as it all was, everything stopped when Gracie stood up and offered herself as chaser. "Bring your quill? I mean, this is the chance of a life time. I can only imagine what the tension is like up there..." She looked happily at Gracie and her bravery, she was willing to stick out her neck for the Hogwarts Press...well something like that. Rita didn't really care. She flung out her wand and charmed a parchment to fly by Gracie, catching all of her thoughts in ink.
