We walk alone
In the unknown
We live to win another victory
We are the young
Dying sons
We live to change the face of history so be afraid
It's the price we pay
The only easy day was yesterday
So hear our voice,
We have a choice,
It's time to face it
In the unknown
We live to win another victory
We are the young
Dying sons
We live to change the face of history so be afraid
It's the price we pay
The only easy day was yesterday
So hear our voice,
We have a choice,
It's time to face it

1960-1970
Gideon was born on a cold winters day to Archibald and Emmeline Prewett. He was the first born of the twins, but not much care was take to him because Fabian was smaller and sick. They had been born at home but because of the illness both boys were taken to St. Mungo's to be observed. Gideon was home first, and Fabian followed only a week later. From the first moment Gideon and Fabian were very close, and the common phrase used to describe them was 'thick as thieves'. Where one boy was, the other was sure to follow behind, but luckily for their mother they were not identical, otherwise life would have been very confusing.
When Gideon was six years old he showed his first burst of magic when he was climbing up a tree. He had made it to the tip top of the tree with Fabian down at the bottom egging him on. In mid reach for another branch the one he was standing on gave way and he slipped down unable to grab anything. Even though it was atleast twenty feet up, Gideon didn't hit a single branch, and managed to land upright without so much as a sprain. After his mother thoroughly beat him with a dish rag she smiled and congratulated him on his first use of magic.
When he was ten was when Molly went to Hogwarts, and Gideon spent much of his days planning with Fabian. What classes they were going to take, what teacher they would drive up the wall, and pranks they could pull. He couldn't wait to go, and he hoped to be with everyone else in his family in Gryffindor. Even though their mother told them it didn't matter what house they were in, Gideon knew it would be a bit of a family upset to not follow in the legacy.
1971-1975
The train ride to the school was an interesting one that that. He had taken it upon himself to hide dung bombs in the food trolley, and they had gone off forcing the students to leave the third car. Gideon managed to get his ear pinched by the trolley lady before being dragged up to the prefect car. They had no idea what to do with the boy since he wasn't technically anyone's ward yet, but they sent him away after tiring of his game of twenty questions. The boat ride was no better because him and Fabian engaged in a pushing match that almost tipped their small craft.
Managing to keep in check during dinner out of fear of Molly thwacking them, Gideon marched up to Gryffindor tower and claimed his bed like he had been there for years. It was easy for him to fit in, he was charismatic and many students enjoyed his antics. Teachers liked him as well, as long as he wasn't being disruptive or loud. He was a smart boy making top marks, though it seemed he barely studied.
In his fourth year he got his first girlfriend, and things went swimmingly, well as well as a a fifteen year olds relationship could go. It lasted a month before he was bored, and then he moved onto his next girlfriend, and many more followed after that. Gideon was a lady's man through and through, he flirted to the point of obnoxious and he gained many jealous looks and jobs from fellow boys. But despite this Gideon remained quiet innocent until the end of his fifth year with his longest girlfriend to date. The relationship ended though right before the end of term when she cheated on him.
Now
Gideon spent his summer goofing off this brother and preparing for his sixth year in school. He was in advanced classes, and school has taken over much of his social life, but he still finds time to goof off and flirt.

Wand
10 3/7 inchs, Hippogriff Feather/Dragon Heartstring, Cypress
Hippogriff Feather:
It is a rare wand core, but is found more often then not in wands of Gryffindor students. The wand requires respect by those who wield it, and those that challenge it. If respect is not given it has been known to no work as commanded. It is often combined with other elements because the feathers are not exactly strong for concentrated magic.
Dragon Heartstring:
Known for it's sheer power, it is often found by those who concentrate in Dark Arts. But it is also found in those who are known to fight the dark arts as well.
Cypress:
Good for Dark Arts(and defending) as well as transfiguration.
Patronus
Hawk
Gideon's best memory was when he was fifteen and he found out he was on the right path and would be eligible to be an Auror. It was his dream job, he wanted to put the bad guys away and be a hero, that was every kids dream right? Well save for the bad guys. He heard of the murmurs of someone dark trying to rise and he is determined to put that person down and behind bars.
Dementor
When he almost drowned at the age of eight. He had gone swimming and was attacked by grindylows, not knowing they were in that lake, alone. The family was at his Aunt's house and it was a hot day, and Gideon was bored. He wandered around and found a small lake and dove in to cool off, but in the middle of the lake his foot was grabbed and he was dragged under. Gideon did his best to fight them, but he couldn't get them off. It was by chance a farmer had been out on his property and saw the boy go under but never come back up.
Boggart
Seeing his family dead, namely his twin. It's not like he doesn't love the rest of his family, he would beat the hell out of you if you insinuated that, but Fabian is his other half. They have been together since before they were even born, Gideon doesn't know what he would do without his brother.
Mirror of Erised
Being an Auror, and having a family by his side. He doesn't know who his wife will be, nor how many children but that is what he wants the most. To be the top dog of his job, married, happy and safe.
Gryffindor
Like the rest of his family before him, Gideon is in Gryffindor. The house were the brave at heart dwell, and those loyal to the very core. Gideon is all of these, to the point of stupidity at times. Just an example of this, he took on a Seventh year Slytherin in his second year to defend a girl he never even met. They had been picking on her, and even though Gideon didn't have a chance in hell to win, he tried.
Order of the Phoenix
Gideon plans on helping out in the war. He doesn't like prejudice, nor people that think they are better then others. His family turned their back on 'pureblood ways' long ago, and to Gideon it couldn't have been the better choice. He will stand up for what is right, and defend those that need help.

Knockturn Alley was not Gideon's favorite place to be by far, but he had things to attend too. He had been causally tracking a suspect that was accused of dealing dark art artifacts by the ministry, while also keeping an eye out for anything else suspicious for the Order. It wasn't the easiest thing in the world to try and be covert while walking down Knockturn Alley as odd as that sounded because plenty of people were able to slip in and out like shadows. But Gideon was a known Auror, and let's face it, he had a temper so plenty of people knew his face. Pulling the collar up on his coat, Gideon dug his hands deep into the pockets of his jacket, and tilted his head toward the ground so the shadow of his fedora would cover his eyes. Puffing on the cigarette in his mouth he flicked his tongue against the filter to knock the ash off before turning down an alleyway to pretend to look at some old wench's trolley cart.
The woman looked like she had seen better days, but if she could have jumped to her feet when Gideon paid mind to her items she would have. It was full of obnoxious smelling perfume and odd slithering things that were supposed to be jewelry. Doing his best to not gag at her breathe that smelled of garlic and something dead he picked about the odds and ends while he watched a shop directly across from the mouth of the entryway he was in. So far there had been no movement, and he sighed growing more and more agitated by the minute. He didn't want to be out in the cold battering wind any longer, and this person was taking their sweet ass time buying whatever it was they wanted. "No I don't want that," Gideon said in a deep gruffy voice with a hint of Russian accent that he had perfected over the years. You couldn't exactly go around sounding like yourself in these parts, enemies had as much of a strong memory as he did. Waving the woman off he turned his heel and headed back out of the alley ignoring her shouts about discounts.
If he really wanted to be a prick he could have arrested her then and there for trying to sell acromantula webbing, but that would have blown his cover. Keeping to the opposite side of the street from the shop he was watching, Gideon pulled the butt of his cigarette out of his mouth and dropped it on the ground stomping on it much harder then he really needed too. He was starting to get grumpy from lack of sleep after pulling an all night shift with the Order, and he was on his tenth hour of his shift for the Ministry. Coffee was probably his best solution and he sought out a shop and slipped inside ignoring the looks from the patrons.
Calling this place filthy was an understatement, there was dust lining the glasses that hung from atop the bar, and he could have sworn he saw a bug skitter around the hard liquor bottles on the back wall. It was obvious no one ever really came here to drink, rather they were here to talk, but he ordered a coffee anyhow and took a seat right next to the window. He could still see the dingy shop from where he sat, as well as listen to the hushed conversations going on around him. To make himself look busy Gideon pulled out a prophet from his inner pocket and flipped it open pretending he was very interested in the Dear Morgana section.
