hola! here's my brain dump of characters and their half assed personalities that are up for some plotting. i'll update this over time with pretty codes and graphics but for now, just bare with me. i'm trying to wrap my mind around all of my characters (and all of the beautiful characters ya'll have made) and that's taking me a while with work. but have no fear! jillian's characters are here....
severus a. snape
sixth year, slytherin, small closet potions business, depressed, often angry, often embarrassed, incredibly smart
severus has multiple things going for him, like a strong friendship with emma logan that often ends in misjudged feelings, but a strong friendship none the less. he saved her from suicide once and that has kept them together. he still pines for lily evans, but has recently turned over a new leaf and plans to co-exist with her as friends and potentially business partners. if he can keep a handle on his emotions that is. he is somewhat of a pushover, and will gladly do any death eater's homework if they need the extra time to fulfill the Dark Lord's wishes. however, he's clever enough to maneuver himself around the inner circle of followers. he is a death eater, more for safety reasons that anything, because severus is currently very unstable. he doesn't have strong opinions on anything and will do whatever it takes to belong to a group.
kevin d. willis
seventh year, ravenclaw, handsome, traditional, organized, more than slightly racist(& species-ist?), and determined to become minister of magic
kevin is a good guy that grew up in the wrong era. the oldest of the willis boys, kevin took after his father and became the solid backbone of the family. he's smart and clever, mostly in finding new ways to be the top student or wiggle his way into the ministry. in other words, he's smart, but he's not going to be the one to invent a new charm or brew a new draft. instead he'll perfect the ones creative people already designed. his love life is complicated, as it should be for someone so handsome. he is currently dating elysia morgan, a death eater though her status is unknown to him, and surprisingly kevin will be hurt to find out her following. surprisingly because kevin is racist towards all half breeds (they are the monsters from his childhood nightmares). blood supremacy, however, has managed to slide past his traditional, conservative political views. his life will get more tricky when he finds he develops feelings for none other than emma logan, another dark personality, and sees signs of a friendship with his "extra project" terria newton. these women need to make this "ugly on the inside" see the light.
bellatrix i. black
seventh year, slytherin, loudly opinionated, a bully with very dark intentions, holds herself above others, mental stability wavering
bellatrix is almost what you'd expect of the eldest black daughter, she much like kevin in that way. traditional. she won't marry for love, and she won't live for her own survival for she cares too much for the survival of pure wizarding lines. she is already deeply involved with the death eaters and spends much of her time performing jobs for the Dark Lord. she looks after her sisters with a critical eye, but takes more kindly to narcissa.
rita c. skeeter
sixth year, ravenclaw, writer of the hogwarts press, outcasted, desperate wanna-be, somewhat brave, clever with words, spectacular at spying
rita isn't yet the woman she is known as in the future. she hasn't quite developed her backbone. though already dabbling in transfiguration and excelling in charms, rita is on the fast track to wizarding gossip success. her natural affinity for everything popular, trendy, and glamorous has drawn her to the presses. she has crushes on people like holden avery, vinnie kentwood, and ludo bagman, for their pretty faces and popularity. but her love for anything other than writing has fizzled. in her younger years, rita was often stuck in a book and earned for herself the title of compulsive liar, for her fanciful made-up stories spread around the neighborhood. she was only trying to make herself feel at home. that stigma, however, has attached itself most fervently onto her blood stream and has pushed her drastically into the person she is today. just a few more pushes left and she will become the daily prophet's darling columnist yet.
oliva b. mckinnon
seventh year, gryffindor, keeper, in-the-closet even to herself, animal lover, order member
ollie is sweet, when she's not surrounded by the rowdy bunch of gryffindors that she regularly associates herself with. she loves her sister and even puts up with her cousin ludo. she'll be the first into he dung pile for care of magical creatures and the last to the vanity in the morning. she doesn't despise girly this, but has never been comfortable with them. she has feelings for emma logan, after their brief runaway to the circus, but she's still exploring her sexuality.
dorcas elaine d. meadowes
seventh year, hufflepuff, dating ludo on and off, girly but strong in her convictions, honest, perceptive, temparate
lanie is kind, and finds strength in that kindness. she is extremely careful, warm, and easily maneuvers this battleground. however, her strength sometimes makes her lose her way, especially when it comes to ludo bagman. their relationship is rocky at best.
