I'm super lazy at the moment, but eventually I'll make this pretty. Anyway, so, if I combed through the schedules correctly there's only three characters taking Divination , and one of them is my Gracie. XD
Here's a plot board anyway in case you feel like getting to know the Divination professor even if he's not your colleague or professor. <3

Well, you may be getting a fourth student. I haven't really decided what classes Peter is taking yet.
Anyway, if you want a colleague to work off of, I've also got Johnathan Trelawney, the Arithmancy professor and father of Sibyll. I can picture them having a bit of a rivalry, possibly friends who get into arguments a lot. Johnny grew up around Seers and other diviners (including his great-grandmother) and thinks it's all a big joke. Arithmancy is a practical artform, closely related to divination.
So as long as Thomas is okay with Johnny thinking he's a fraud, they could totally be friends. Oh! And when we get a Sibyll, she'll be taking Divination, and maybe Thomas can be the one to discover her Seeing and help her with it, and then Johnny finds out and is furious with him for encouraging her.
Let me know what you think. ;D

Oooh, Thomas would be super excited to have four students, haha.
I love the idea with your professor! Love. I really don't think Tom would care too much, he's kind of used to everyone treating him like a joke now. When he first arrived at Hogwarts he was super eager to prove himself and probably tried harder with Johnny, but now he's just like, 'Whatever, I can't force you to see what's right in front of you.'
Also, it would be just like him to try to take a Seer student under his wing, and he'd probably be likely to do it if he knew the student wasn't getting any support from his/her home. LOVE IT.
