marlene && lily
like you said on my plot page, they could go either way with friendship or hating each other since they're room mates. lily's pretty open-minded so, i don't really think she'd hate marlene. i could see them as casual friends. they're certainly not the best of friends and they probably annoy each other at times, but they still talk fairly often and would sit together at the table for breakfast and not think about it twice. they kind of fill space for each other. does that make any sense? they wouldn't start pouring at their life's secrets to each other, but they don't dislike the company either. they would keep conversations pretty simple and would hang out time to time but wouldn't ever make plans outside of school for any reason.


marlene && kyndrick
for some reason, i could see a huge fake friendship here. like, marlene could hang out with kyndrick during kyndrick's ridiculous little social schemes, but in reality, marlene would be like, "good god! kyndrick laurent is such an idiot! what is she doing with her life?!" and kyndrick would be the type who would play up being friends with anyone more than she's actually friends with them because she's just that kind of person. she thrives on social interaction but she's reckless, careless, rebellious, and a bit insane because of it all. marlene seems to have a better head on her shoulders while kyndrick doesn't care what she does, ever.


marlene && holden
i could not see holden and marlene being friends at all for any reason. holden is a death eater and a generally bad guy. he's just a jerk, ya know? marlene would probably loathe him and think he's the worst kind of person to have around. and holden would think marlene is some kind of traitor who is equivalent to gum stuck to the bottom of his shoe.


marlene && russel
i've got no clue if marlene plans to take muggle studies class or not. if she does, she would probably have an average kind of relationship with professor port. i don't think it would be anything complex or mentor-esque.


marlene && dax
ha! dax! i could see a kind of silly, competitive, immature friendship between dax and marlene. dax is a ravenclaw 6th year so, they'd see each other around a bit. he's also a quidditch player and loves the sport. he's incredibly obnoxious and would drive marlene crazy, like her does everyone else. maybe marlene will see that endearing side of him as well though and she'd still hang out with him. that's up to you. =)


marlene && amelia
i could kind of see marlene knowing amelia. i mean, they're both somewhat studious and driven so, they've got that in common. at the same time, amelia is incredibly shy so, any type of friendship would have to be pushed by marlene and not amelia.


marlene && terria
this could work for some kind of interaction. marlene and terria are in the same year, although terria is a ravenclaw. terria is new and weird and she doesn't fit in so, maybe marlene could be sort of curious about her. she could want to kind of get to know her, but not really be friends with her.

Marlene & Lily
I like the idea of a casual friendship, where there's not a lot of pressure but they do, for the most part, get along. Sounds good! (:

Marlene & Kyndrick
Marlene does like to party. She's your typical sixteen year old from the 70s, haha. (: I can see Marlene thinking Kyndrick's insane, but she loves a good party and Kyndrick throws the best, so she shows up and acts friendly. It's not insincere, it's just is what it is. Two fairly sociable individuals can't help but appear to be close even when they're not especially since they click on that extrovert level. Kyndrick's definitely more hardcore than Marlene, but I feel like she could easily be pressured into going further than she wants to when hanging out with Kyndrick. After all, the Gryffindor doesn't want to back down before the Ravenclaw! They probably get into a lot of messes?

Marlene & Holden
Haha, yeah, exactly. Marlene hates death eaters and baby death eaters, she'd be unimpressed with Holden and everything he stands for.

Marlene & Dax
I love it! Marlene's not particularly judgmental when it comes to obnoxious people, mostly because her flighty personality can be considered pretty annoying to some. She's pretty laid back and would definitely get into the competitive, child like atmosphere. I think she'd consider hanging out with Dax pretty relaxing, in small doses. Definitely friends!

Marlene & Amelia
Marlene's very much of the opinion that the old families that aren't crazy evil should stick together. So, she would definitely try to be friendly to Amelia when she sees her, and she'd try to draw her out. Maybe, since they both come from old families, their parents could be old friends? They both live in London, although the McKinnons are in Diagon Alley. So, perhaps they're old family friends? If not, that's cool, haha.

Marlene & Russel
Haha, Marlene doesn't need muggle studies, so she definitely hasn't taken it.

Marlene & Terria
Marlene would definitely be curious, but she's terrified of vampires. They're her boggart and everything. It's not a rational fear, just one of those things she picked up from her pureblood family. They're cool with blood statuses, but not so much with what Umbridge so charmingly called 'halfbreeds'. It's an ignorance thing, but since Marlene isn't an idiot, I'd say that once she got to know Terria, if she came to find out about the vampire thing she'd pull a Ron and try really hard to get over herself.
