Okay, so I'd really love to open a site sometime in early June, but I'm a bit stuck on which of these two plots to choose so I figured I'd ask you guys for opinions. <3
Plot #1: Incinta Incanto
It all started at the Battle of Hogwarts. Not one man, woman or child had died when Voldemort fell, dead, by the wand of Harry Potter. But a strange thing happened that night. Voldemort feared death, but he prepared for it just the same. He created a spell that was to be released on to Hogwarts when he died.
The spell was created from three very old ones. One of love, one of reincarnation, and one of fertility. He had planned to impregnate the only woman that had ever loved him from his Hogwarts days. On his child's seventeenth birthday it would recieve not only his memory, but part of his soul as well. But the initial plan failed. Instead every witch at Hogwarts over the age of sixteen became pregnant.
The children born nine months later, nicknamed Battle Babies, were proven to have taken on the looks and D.N.A. of their mother and the man they loved - which is what Minerva McGonagall feared most. For the only man she had truly loved was a boy named Tom Riddle. So when her triplets were born, Minerva gave them her name and promised herself that she'd never let them or anyone else find out who their real father was.
The Battle Babies are now entering their sixth year at Hogwarts with only six months left until their seventeenth birthdays. Will Voldemort's initial plan of transfering his soul and memories work? All sorts of trouble can happen when you put the children of the worlds most feared and praised witches and wizards together at school. Come join the chaos.
[Site just needs a little tweaking. Could be open by the weekend.]
Plot #2: Seen & Unforeseen
Prophecies are tricky things to rely on. Most people think they're all rubbish, and some are, but sometimes prophecies can have a real impact on history, especially if the right person is listening. The prophecy Sybill Trelawney made about Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort was many years ago, but prophecies still hold power today. Ms Trelawney was even so skilled as to be correct about Mr Potter becoming Minister and having twelve children, a prediction that was thought to be a complete fake at the time.
A year before Voldemort's death, he was told a prophecy about a child being born to a loyal follower of his. The child would supposedly become greater than Voldemort himself, and do things the dark lord had never dreamt of. But in his year of complete reign over wizarding Britain, several of his death eaters had children. Unable to indentify the child the prophecy spoke of, and unwilling to make a mistake, Voldemort marked each of the infants as his successor and took precaustions so no harm would come to their families should anything happen to him.
Years later, the children entered Hogwarts together, as friends. Their guardians still had no idea which of them was the real successor, but they knew the time was coming when one of them would show signs of leadership, so the families began gathering forces and making plans. As greedy as they were before, and with the knowledge that they could do more than Voldemort could, they longed for more power. It wasn't just about blood purity anymore, it was about ruling the wizarding world. For years they gained allies in foreign ministries and planted spies in the British ministry, waiting for their moment. It came last year, in 2023, when the seven Successors were 25 and had established a name for themselves in the wizarding community. No clear leader among them was named, but they worked as a team, doing as their parents had trained them to ... whether they wanted to or not.
But while they were slowly gaining power, Minister Potter had other things to be concerned with. He had been made aware of a prophecy stating that muggles would soon play an important part in wizarding history. No sooner had this prediction been made than the followers of the Successors planned attacks on muggle London. But the followers were new and sloppy. A few muggles survived and spread the word that their attackers could tear apart buildings and easily kill people with sticks.
Within just a few months, and with several more sightings, the secret was out. Magic was real. And so started the witch trials and accusations made against perfectly innocent muggles, until Minister Potter and Prime Minister Kerr came to an agreement. A truce among all of Britain. Muggles would be more open to the idea of magic, and wizarding folk would open their doors to people without magic. Unfortunately, it hasn't stopped all the anti-magic groups, or the purists, and skirmishes still go on every day.
