Hello Mar,
How are you doing on this fine day? This studying is driving me batty, the librarian is all about her zen quietness. Too bad she cannot get us for writing letters to each other while studying, eh?

OWLS are ages away! Go outside! Enjoy the sun! Snap some photographs! Pretend that awful librarian doesn't exist.
- Marlene
P.S. Did you make it to Kyndrick's party last weekend?

Hello Mar,
Oh yes, but you know me, I uphold my standards. I will snap my photographs soon enough, not to worry. It would be rather boring to be cooped up in here all day, you know. What are you here for today?
PS: Yes, I did in fact, you will soon see the lovely photos I took there as well.

Arithmancy exam, and never ending amounts of Ancient Runes to translate! Don't forget your study breaks. Wouldn't want to end up in the hospital wing babbling non-stop about charms, or worse, potions.
Please say you only took flattering photos, and that they're not going in that journal thing Rita's started up!
-Mar
P.S. But it was such a blast! I can't believe those Hufflepuffs!

Hello Mar,
I never forget my study breaks, I know I would babble on and on if I did not. It would drive everyone mad, and I do not think that is the desired effect I want to have on others.
I took some flattering photos, and I did not take anything that made anyone look like a sell-out. I do photos for those articles because it is good practice if I want to be a photographer for the Daily Prophet someday.
PS: It was very much a good time, but I would agree with you on those Hufflepuffs.

That's good news then! Wouldn't want any sloppy photographs going around Hogwarts.
You'll make a boss photographer someday then. If you can make a bunch of drunk and high teenagers look great, you'll have no trouble with drunk and high quidditch players, and politicians!
Seriously though, did you have a good time? Please tell me you put the camera down long enough to have a drink or five!

Hello Mar,
Yes, I am hoping that I can become one of the most top ranked photographers. I did enjoy the party though and I had a drink. It was not enough to get me drunk, just a little buzzed. I prefer doing it mildly. A soft touch of anything like always seems to have the best effect.
Did you have a couple drinks? The brew that Holden brought was rather nice, I must admit.

You Ravenclaws and your big dreams and big plans that make everything fall nicely into place! I don't even know what I want to do with my life, yet. I might want to get a move on, I guess, or all the Ravenclaws will take my spot!
Ugh, Holden. I mostly had my own fire whiskey, but when I'm drunk I'm not going to turn down free alcohol! Even if it's from a wannabe you-know-what.
I don't know about this soft-touch stuff. You have to go hard, often! Quidditch would be a terrible place for a soft touch. Also a terrible place? A Hogwarts party!

Hello Mar,
I have decided to keep my feelings about him and my liking of his beer as two separate things.
As far as being hard ball, I prefer to start soft on certain things first. I like having that soft beer so I can have the best shot at other events that night. Being at a Hogwarts party is much more than a drink, it is a social event.

Oh, I think you give us all too much credit! The drinking is the event, dear! Unless you're writing for the school newspaper, or gambling. Or a Hufflepuff.
The whole point of a Kyndrick party is to get as drunk as possible, and dance terribly with that bloke you barely know, then the next day you play some soft ball with the Charms Club.
Try it sometime, trust me! You'll love it, I promise. Just need to relax.

Hello Mar,
Oh, I am sure it is fun Mar, but I also have my own fun. It is fun to slowly let yourself lose control at your own leisure, you see. I go up to a person and I have a conversation and pretty much have full grip of it.
On the other hand, if I doing something lets say more, passionate in nature, I let my hair down, so to speak. I allow control from the other end and allow them to gauge my every action. It is very fun to see how the gauges occur.

You, Mr. Kendell, are going to get me thrown out of this library. The librarian's already shooting me dirty looks because I can't stop laughing. Passionate, indeed. Subtle, Ravenclaw, very subtle.
Who needs to control a conversation though? Spoken like someone who may be spending too much time around Miss. Skeeter! Careful, or maybe one day you'll find your byline under some words instead of pictures! (;

Hello Mar,
You can take it however you wish Miss. McKinnon. It has more than one meaning you see. I will let you take it in whatever direction you desire it to go.
As for Rita, I know how she is about conversations, but I do it in a more subtle way. A way that allows input from the other end. It is very much a mutual experience.

Hahahahahahahahaha.
I bet it's a very mutual experience.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to leave before the terrifying librarian hexes me to death!
See you around, Ivan.
