This was the moment that Ryan would open Terria up to more of the magic world. He could not wait to go to The Three Broomsticks and expose her to some of his culture. It was something that he never though he would never do after being tripped down the stairs, but here we was now doing just that. Maybe he was just a sucker for attractive looking girls. Especially attractive girls that can sing, play the guitar, or do something else artistic in nature. His excuse for this was that he was just helping her out and this was not a date at all in the least. As long as Terria did not think it was a date, it would not be. That was something that he had to keep telling himself as he got ready. The boy obsessed about trying to look nice but not too nice. It would not be a good idea for her to become leery of what he was trying to do. Even if he truly did want to date her in the long run.
He headed down the many staircase, planning to meet her at Hogsmeade. Ryan showed his goofy grin and sped ahead of a lot of the younger students that were heading down the stairs himself. He was lucky that he was not getting into any trick stairs, at least not yet. The boy ended up on the third floor and started to head down that staircase toward the second floor. The boy felt the sinking feeling and started to laugh. If Terria had to save him from this, this would be very amusing indeed. To him, it'd be an awesome start of the day. All he did was just smile at the people that were passing by. It was not natural for him to stay still, but he did in this case so he would not sink any deeper into the stair like he knew he would if he moved. Maybe if he would have been more cautious about things he would not be in the situation that he was in.
Terria's reaction would probably be one that he was a fool. That he would fully accept. He really should have watched where he was going. The point of caring had gone away. If Sirius or James or anyone else saw him like this, they would laugh. He did not worry about people staring or laughing though. The boy was sure that he would be saved by the person he was supposed to meet. Since he had been heading there very early to get a head start and make sure that Terria would not get lost when she went out there. When it was busy like it was going to be, it was very easy to get lost. It was exactly why he was going way early, but it was clearly a effort that was in vain. Ryan chuckled to himself, and looked up the staircase. At least the good news was he wasn't too far down in the stair that people might accidentally step on him.

Terria could feel the flush rise up on her cheeks as she examined her reflection in the mirror. She stood in the girl’s dormitory and was fussing about with her slightly tangled, dark hair. She picked up a brush and began dragging it through her locks roughly. She didn’t know why she was so nervous, but she really was. She supposed it was because she really liked Ryan. And not just because he was rather good looking either. She liked that he’d made an effort to talk to her and had noticed she was shy and had treated her like she was special anyway. She liked that he liked music and she felt connected to him now. Music was such a huge part of Terria’s life. For someone to like her and like music and like her music… Terria felt as if she’d never find anyone like that.
But she couldn’t date him! No! It would be morally wrong! Terria Newton was a vampire! She was not the average student at Hogwarts. As a matter of fact, she didn’t really belong at Hogwarts at all. She belonged back in Greece being home schooled and hiding her vampirism and basking in a quiet life of mixed cultures and new experiences. This school was something she never saw in her future and now, she was just trying to make sense of it all. A guy as nice as Ryan deserved someone normal, someone sweet. Not the thing that Terria was. Not the monster that Terria was.
She gave herself one more look-over before she’d head off to experience Hogsmeade for the first time. She wore a pair of very plain looking denim jeans and a white shirt made of cotton. She pulled on a chocolate brown chorded jacket and a pair of brown boots that would be comfortable for the walking. She laid the hairbrush down hesitantly and pulled a book bag over her shoulder. She closed her eyes and murmured a personal mantra to herself, ”Life will take you only to the places you allow yourself to wander.” And then, she was off like a bolt.
She was moving with fast-paced energy and nerves and excitement through the corridors and she had this vivid image of Ryan’s face in her mind and she was ready for the day. She was ready to have fun! Until she spotted him standing on a staircase looking completely and utterly inconvenienced. And Terria found herself snort out a laugh. She was surprised by her own actions because it was incredibly rude and she never intended to be rude to such a nice person. But once it was out, there was no taking back a snort of laughter. She could only rush over and smile down at him from a step up. She had heard about these trick steps from people. Mostly her cousin Molly or her friend Mercy had given her advice to avoid them. To see Ryan trapped in one was entirely too comedic. ”How have you managed this?” She asked him playfully, still smiling down at him, at Ryan Willis.
