EFFIE TEAGAN WILDEtwenty-four female ravenclaw alum. librarian death eater meet effie. she's 24 and the librarian around hogwarts. she just started this year so, i imagine people would be keen to get to know her. i imagine more than one of the 5th-7th year boys would think she's gorgeous and follow her about the library trying to get a peek at her between the shelves. she's quite mellow in nature. she's witty and clever and a ravenclaw alum. she's got herself into some messy business and is a death eater but no one knows that.
she's already got a love interest developing slowly, but i'm up for other plots so let me know if you're interested. she's quick to give advice so, i could see a few of the girls liking sitting and talking to her about their drama. that would be pretty adorable. she's close enough in age that she can still relate so, there's that. let me know. =)

Okay, so we've already got Peter having a little crush on her, and then letting it slip. And I think we agreed that Effie and Elysia are friends, but have we talked about Johnny yet?
Johnny's been the arithmancy professor for a long, long time. Long enough to have actually taught Effie. So maybe it can be this really awkward friendship at first because they're both used to being teacher/student, but then when Johnny needs someone to talk to, she can be there for him? He's going to be in a lot of trouble soon, with Skeeter writing about him and Marlene sleeping together, so he's going to need someone to be on his side.
I can also see a lot of interaction between Effie and Mercedes, what with Mercy being a nerd and hiding away in the library so much.

marjorie is like this little odd ball girl that has never had a normal motherly type person in her life. her parents try to be more like friends, they have unconventional ways of raising her, so unconventional in fact that marjorie has failed to learn important life lessons...like when to keep her mouth shut, who to stay away from, how to say no to peer pressure, and how to treat professors with respect. i can see her sometimes talking back to them without really meaning it in a bad way. if she terrorized philip in class and he handed her detention...he'd probably want to have her serve it in the library helping effie because effie is the only woman that philip is really close to and philip can sense that this girl needs a little guidance from an older woman. and then marjorie either sinks or swims.
