EM , FIFTEEN , SLYTHERIN , KAYA SCODELARIO SELF-CONSCIOUS , QUIET , SARCASTIC , INTELLIGENT , DEPRESSED hey guys, meet emma logan. she's fifteen and kind of fucked up as all hell. i mean, she's got a good heart. she really looks up to her older sister, alice, even though they've got close to nothing in common. she is a slytherin and has a lot of slytherin-like qualities, but she's not a death eater and doesn't have intentions of becoming one. she's really off-beat and manipulative. she's very sneaky and edgy and conniving. she doesn't really like people in general and she makes use of her time with others picking at them like everything is a huge game. she is also manic-depressant. her moods will shift rapidly and she will become really upset and crazy. she likes to party and rebel and get into trouble, but she never knows why she's doing the things she does. she refuses to really love anyone other than her sister. she has huge trust issues. she's pretty generally confused about life. she doesn't know what she wants. she doesn't know if she likes boys or girls or anyone. she has trouble making friends and when she does have friends, she tends to fuck things up fast. so, i guess that's a good place to start. i'll need past relationships. these could be guys she's hooked up with, girls she became friends with briefly, people she's just met and who think she's great but don't know the half of it. i'd love to give her some kind of relationship in the future, but we'll need to plot it really well. let me know if you're interested. =)

KEVIN & EMMA Alright, I just had a little change to your idea, because I think that it would be a little odd for the school to assign any student the duty of acting as psychologist. And Kevin is smart but he's not smart in that area necessarily, and so I was thinking more along these lines... Kevin and Amelia are alerted that Emma Logan is close to losing it. They are both asked to make sure she's save each night, to the best of their abilities, and make sure she's not stealing the ingredients to poison or practicing dangerous spells. This would be relatively easy to do, I figure the head students could parade on into other common rooms than their own and things like that. I can see Amelia sort of watching but drifting off because of the stress that she is under, and Kevin, used to having projects added onto his work load would be better able to handle it perhaps. I thought it would be interesting to just have Kevin watch here, maybe approach her sometimes with strangely concocted schemes to get information out of her without her knowing it, that sort of thing. And I think that Kevin, being smart and observant, when he devotes time to watching Emma he learns more about her than she ever thought someone could. He really gets to know her in a sense, and then as she kind of catches on to his stalkerish motives...and approaches him...he'll kind of blow her away with how much he actually notices. And perhaps this is what Emma's been looking for in a friend, someone who actually notices things like she does, someone who understands the way the world works not just through their own eyes. Then this leads to a friendship, and that's where the gut spilling comes out. Their relationship can evolve anyway after this. I had a plot in mind of Kevin falling for a girl that is wrong for him. The original plot line is that he falls for a death eater and when he finds out his life is essentially ruined and he practically marries himself to the ministry for the rest of his life. I'm not sure if that plot is going to go anywhere. No one has a character to play the role and it's kind of been pushed under the rug for a bit. If it doesn't happen and if you push Emma to even more extremes, then maybe she could fit the role. She is younger, but maybe they'd get together when she's in her sixth or seventh year...Kevin's already working for the ministry...gets distracted...she offs herself? Because depression always kind of comes back. Kevin would be devastated and I can see that ruining his life just the same. That, however, isn't something we'd put into action for a long while... I like this relationship and I like that it kind of springboards off of Severus and Emma too.

I like this idea a lot. I love how you adapted it from my original and tweaked it to be more reasonable. This sounds so realistic and I'm definitely on board. I think Emma fits what would be needed later on. The friendship part would be so out there and sort of outlandish to others, but it really fits when you get to thinking about it. God, I seriously love this idea. I'm on board. After we finish out the Severus/Em friendship and the circus stuff with Ollie/Em, this will be the next step. <3
