Ladies and Gentlemen, might I have the pleasure of introducing you to the wonderful, the spectacular, the beautiful….. SYLVIE SPARROW!!!!!!

But she’s not all that, is she? The peculiar Miss Sparrow is a regular born and raised around Cirque de Freya. Her mother was once a tight-rope-walker and now she’s following in her footsteps. Sylvie is fifteen-years-old and suffers a severe case of naïve thinking. She is the productive of an abusive father and a non-assertive mother. Both of whom have exited her life with much permanence. She now remains with the people whom she has considered her family for as long as she can remember, the other circus performers.

Sylvie has never understood why she is the way she is. She’s always done as she’s been pushed to do. Her father became affiliated with the Death Eaters along with Arcturus King and, from a young age, manipulated Sylvie to do a lot of dirty work that she didn’t know she was doing. In reality, Sylvie has a very good heart. She is a very kind person. She’s a hard worker and has a charming sense of presence with others. What she doesn’t realize is that, even with her father out of the picture, she’s still being used. Arcturus continues to drag Sylvie into this messy world of murder, messages, and lies. She has her memories erased and her body imperiused constantly. Sylvie is afraid she’s going mad. She thinks she’s going completely insane. And she doesn’t have the knowledge or life experience to know any better.

I want a lot with this character. I could see all different kinds of plots developing. I want her to have friends and people who are as close as family within the circus. I want the people who knew how her father was and had objections, and then those who sat idly by and watched him beat Sylvie and her mother for all those years. A lot of the people that Sylvie knows would be both friends and enemies to her. Sylvie is so trusting. She wants to think the best of everyone. She won’t even acknowledge that what her father did was wrong. I would love to see other people tell her it was messed up and have her sit there with that confused look on her face, not realizing that it was the truth.

Because she is so trusting, I imagine Sylvie would also have many suitors. They wouldn’t be good people though. Sylvie looks older than she is and she has that grace and elegance about her. I want the sleazy guys, the rough and tough ones… They’d be the ones who want Sylvie’s attention. She doesn’t ever get someone sweet and kind. That’s what she would want, but she can’t ask for it and wouldn’t know how. Eventually, she’s going to have a good relationship with an unexpected person, but that’s a different plot.

So, I hope you guys can do something with her. <3
