ELAINE VERONICAEASTERLY Elaine, never Lainey, is a sixth year Ravenclaw. She has a bit of a temper and she always speaks her mind. Elaine judges people by brain power, not house, but it's more common to see her with Slytherins than Gryffindors, and she's very rarely with Hufflepuffs. They're too friendly. It's weird. Elaine is a Chaser for the Quidditch team. She's pureblood, but wants to stay neutral in the war, so you won't see her with people who make it obvious about their side on the war. Elaine needs friends. There's all kinds. There are besties, good friends, aquaintances, awkward 'hi' friends, etc., whatever you want to come up with. I love creativity. RITA COLLINE SKEETER
Possibly surprisingly, Rita and Elaine are good friends. They haven’t reached the level of best friends, and probably never will, but it isn’t uncommon to see them sitting in the common room chatting. Elaine likes Rita because Rita never tries to hide who she is. She’s out for stories for her newspaper. Also, Elaine loves Rita’s passion and drive for her newspaper. Not many people their age are like that. If Elaine could change anything about Rita, it’d be her Quidditch skills. Sometimes when Elaine’s in a really bad mood, she might make a comment about it. Most of the time, the two girls get along just fine.
LUDOVIC AURELIUS BAGMAN
Elaine and Ludovic have a tricky relationship. Ludovic is Vinnie’s best friend, so Elaine is sometimes around the both of them. Elaine rather likes Ludovic. He isn’t the smartest guy around, but he is funny and still a decent human being. He’s also terrific at Quidditch. Then there’s Ludovic’s awkward on-again, off-again relationship with Dorcas, a person Elaine does not like. Elaine would prefer if Ludovic would dump Dorcas for good and then there would be no awkward tension. With all of this drama, Elaine considers Ludovic a bit above an acquaintance, but not quite a friend. She likes him, but she probably would never spend time with him without Vinnie. GRACE ELIZABETH DAVIES Elaine sort of likes Grace, especially if Grace keeps her mouth closed. Really, Elaine just has to be in the mood to put up with Grace. The girl can be pretty stupid. If Elaine’s in a good mood though and Grace doesn’t say something stupid, it’s possible to see the girls talking around campus. Grace, by now, is used to Elaine’s apparently random quirk to suddenly dash away. If Grace gets too annoying, Elaine tries to be nice by just leaving, instead of yelling at the girl to open a book once in a great while. [/blockquote] MARLENE EDITH MCKINNON
Marlene likes people to know that she wants to see the demise of You-Know-Who, which bothers Elaine. The two have a lot in common, especially random electives since they are entering a similar field after leaving Hogwarts. The two used to ignore each other, as was safest, but being in some of the same classes, they have reached an almost-friend stage from bonding. Like with Grace, when Marlene starts blabbing about her views on the war, Elaine walks away. Elaine loves to date guys. She's not the hookup type. She would prefer relationships, but there could be some that never made it that far. If you apply here, please explain what happened/will happen with the relationship. VINNIE EDMOND KENTWOOD
Elaine thought for a while that Vinnie was pretty cute. Who could deny it? Since they both played Quidditch as Chasers, she didn’t want to get involved with him. Sure, she knew that Quidditch wasn’t everything (but it certainly was up there), but if/when they broke up, the team would reflect it. Everyone would have to choose sides and it would be ugly. Still, Elaine could not resist his charms for long and soon succumbed. They have their fights, but they’re a pretty happy couple. Elaine tries not to think of what will happen after he leaves school, instead she focuses on the now. [/blockquote] Elaine definitely has her enemies. She speaks her mind without a filter, so she gets herself into trouble. She definitely needs enemies, people who don't like her, etc. DORCAS ELAINE DELPHINE MEADOWES
To say that Dorcas and Elaine are enemies is a bit harsh. There is not much love between these girls though. Dorcas doesn’t trust Elaine because Elaine won’t get around cheering on everyone who fights You-Know-Who. Elaine doesn’t like Dorcas because she goes around talking like that. Dorcas is also a Hufflepuff, and, well, come on. There’s just something a bit wrong with most Hufflepuffs. They’re always happy. They’re overly friendly. It’s not real. It’s all fake. Elaine just doesn’t like fake people. Elaine sees Dorcas as a false person. [/blockquote] BELLATRIX IRMA BLACK Bellatrix and Elaine are enemies. Bellatrix assumed that from Elaine occasionally spending time with Slytherins and Elaine’s purebloodness that she would want to become a Death Eater. When Elaine politely declined, Bellatrix tried to make her life hell. She took away Elaine’s blood status (whatever that means. It’s not like Elaine suddenly isn’t an Easterly because Bellatrix waved her hands or something. Dumbass). Bellatrix is just an annoying person who shows her allegiance too much, something that Elaine cannot tolerate. vinnie & elaine I was very excited when I saw that Elaine was a quidditch player, because my Vinnie is the ultimate jock (well along with Ludo Bagman). He is the star of the Ravenclaw quidditch team, well according to him, and he's being scouted by all kinds of professional teams. Ludo, of course, is already signed, but that's a different story. Vinnie constantly competes with Kyndrick Laurent, thinking maybe he should be captain, but he's too focused on writing plays and winning to be in charge of the team. So, for Elaine and Vinnie I was thinking...RELATIONSHIP! <3 I'd like to see them try seriously dating for a while. Vinnie is neutral too, you couldn't get him to stop playing even if there was a death eater gathering on the pitch. I think that him and Elaine would be a good fit, maybe not as something that ultimately ends in marriage or what not, but like strong feelings that were maybe rooted in attraction but grew into something more. Elaine could maybe..possibly..actually find Vinnie's heart somewhere under his quidditch robes.
lanie & elaine Well this is just awesome because Dorcas Elaine Delphine Meadows was always called Elaine by her mother and sometimes Lanie. But other than that connection I think these two would be enemies. I say this because Dorcas Elaine is an avid member of the order, best friends with Marlene Mckinnon and Amelia Bones. And she's also a very like..idk "walls up" kind of a person. She doesn't trust anyone unless they've given her good reason to, and although she does usually give people the benefit of the doubt, she might see a little bit of darkness in Elaine that kind of changes her perception of her. Not that Elaine is evil or anything, but Dorcas doesn't know, and that not knowing for sure makes her very edgy around the girl. Plus she's a puff.
rita & elaine Can we be friends? Rita doesn't have enough of those and they have three things in common: Ravenclaw, 6th years, neutral. I think that they might kind of be seen together, roaming the halls in the same group of people. Treat each other decently, understand the others weird quirks like long-time friends do. I think that they'd make good friends, but not best friends, just like the kind of friends that sit up and talk sometimes in the common room. If Elaine ever gets into a duel or something Rita would love to stand up for her. And also, Rita plays quidditch! I know right, hilarious. She's the worst keeper on the planet...but she's part of the team because no one else could do it. So Elaine could have this sort of...desire to tell Rita to shove off the pitch, and might blurt out how awful she is at the game at times..but that's up to you.
bellatrix & elaine So obviously enemies, but before they are enemies I'd like to see something hilarious and epic happen. I was thinking that Bella could approach Elaine with the death eater information, strictly on a "join our club" basis. And then when Elaine turns it down to remain neutral Bella can be totally upset and try to like...take away her pureblood status or something. Sending out hate letters to Elaine's family or something.. I don't know if that would work but she'd try. And then the lovely enemy status and mutual hatred steps forward and they look at each other with contempt ever after. Or something along those lines.
i've got more charries that you can look at, but these were the main plots that stuck in my mind.

Dodododo, oh you know, plotting instead of getting ready for my interview with that professor.
Okay!
Ludo & Elaine Okay, so, Ludo is in this on and off relationship with Dorcas, and is best buds with Vinnie. I can kind of see this causing some problems. Probably because Ludo doesn’t always consider Dorcas’ feelings on, well, anything because he’s an idiot like that. So, basically, if Vinnie and Elaine end up dating, and they’re off on a date somewhere, and Ludo shows up with Dorcas, he would definitely be like, “LOOK, IT’S VINNIE AND ELAINE THAT’S NOT LAINEY, LAINEY. LET’S GO HANG OUT.” And then he’d sit down and be his charming, jovial self and totally ignore any tension between Elaine and Dorcas, and probably discuss quidditch with them until he’s blue because that’s his favourite topic. And then he’d be in trouble with Dorcas because she’s all, “YOU KNOW I DON’T LIKE HER. YOU KNOW THIS.” And poor Ludo is just like, “I WAS BEING FRIENDLY.” Which is just bad for everyone involved, haha.
Grace & Elaine One of those things where Elaine can only stand Grace every second Tuesday and at lunch on Fridays? It basically depends on her mood, but because it’s Elaine she has no trouble walking away or ducking into an off corridor when she sees Gracie waving and just can’t handle it.
Marlene & Elaine Elective buddies? I’m pretty sure they’re both in the less fun electives since Elaine needs that for spell making and Marlene wants it for curse breaking. It kind of spilled out into the rest of their lives, but now it’s ever so slightly awkward because of Elaine’s tendency to associate with Slytherins and therefore purists [in Marlene’s mind], and because Marlene is very much Order. So, basically, they start conversations because they’re still fond of each other, but if a Slytherin approaches thenMarlene’s all, “See you,” and makes a sneer face, or if Marlene starts to mention how much she believes the Order is the way to go, Elaine’s like, “Okay, I have potions. BYE.”
Prof. Barnes & Elaine Is she in Divination?

LILY: I feel like Lily and Elaine should be kind of awkward friends. They're both really smart and can hold their own in most situations, but Elaine also has a lot of qualities that would clash with Lily. I feel like they wouldn't mind talking casually periodically, working together on class projects, and just hanging out in the library sometimes. They're not super close, but they certainly don't hate each other. They haven't got much concrete history, other than knowing each other vaguely for the past almost 6 years.
FRANK: I feel like Elaine would kind of love and hate Frank Longbottom. She'd really kind of like some of his qualities. He's also smart and a great quidditch player and he's sort of bad ass at times. But Frank also has really blatant morals. He'd be one of the students jumping forward to take a stand in the war debate. He's also obnoxious and arrogant. Sometimes, that would be funny and Elaine would soak it up and laugh, but other times, she'd only resent him for it. Acquaintances.
KYNDRICK: Mutual dislike. Kyndrick is flighty and a constant drinker and she's that typical French/English party girl who no one takes seriously. Plus, Kyndrick and Rita aren't exactly best friends forever and Kyndrick would take Elaine's liking to Rita as a sign of bad blood.
TERRIA: Terria is the new girl. I almost think it would be really fun if Elaine hated her and saw her as a kind of easy prey. She'd have a fun time kind of picking at Terria because Terria is so quiet and so meek. Terria lives to be invisible, she wouldn't be able to handle it very well. And a lot of people suspect things about her. Elaine should be on that side of things. The other 6th year Ravenclaw girls all look at Terria like this black sheep. That's really what she is and I could see a lot of tension between the two girls.
DAX: Past relationship!!!! They both play quidditch and everything. Dax is very in love with his best friend, Molly, but he's gone out with a lot of other girls before in an attempt to make Molly jealous and to distract himself. I think it would be funny if they'd had some kind of month long dating thing that was really bad and now Elaine just thinks Dax is annoying. She would always sort of view him like a mosquito or something.
AMELIA: Amelia is the Head Girl and is a fairly quiet kind of a person. I think that Elaine should have a sort of unspoken respect for Amelia. Amelia really gives off that air being in charge even when she's a naturally shy girl. Not much interaction there other than a quiet respect.
MYCAH: I feel like Mycah would think Elaine is awesome and Elaine would think Mycah is definitely not worth the time of day. Mycah's not the brightest kid in the world. He's also best friends with Grace Davies and he has a lot of very dorky, childlike qualities. He is extremely social and makes friends with everyone easily, but they don't always like him as much as he likes them.
EMMA: Emma is a year younger and a Slytherin. She has very, very few friends and I doubt she'd even talk to Elaine much. Although, maybe Elaine could notice her. Maybe she'd think there's something really, really off about Emma. She could feel a certain level of fear almost, not to the point where she'd actually admit to anything, but it would be a lingering fear of what Emma might do. And Em would be completely indifferent to Elaine.
HOLDEN: This could be fun. Holden is pretty much the bottom of the barrel, sleazy, evil asshole kind of a guy. And Elaine said she tends to hang out with a lot of Slytherins. Maybe Elaine could have had a crush on him a year or two earlier and she'd wanted to date him. Holden takes that as a cue to hook up and Elaine isn't in to the whole hook up thing. She could kind of freak out and Holden could turn out to not be what she wants and she becomes sort of intimidated by him. Elaine is a bad ass though. And that's not ever what Holden is expecting. So, she can stand up to him, tell him to get the hell away from her. And that creates tension, especially with other people in their year. Not just anyone tells Holden Avery to go away. It would sort of display Elaine's personality to others.
EFFIE: Effie is the school's librarian. She's rather young and she's very bookish and bright and charismatic. I feel like Elaine should be comfortable with Effie. Effie could be someone Elaine might sit down and talk to if she is seeking advice. Effie is a good listener and would be able to talk to Elaine without bias in most situations.
RUSSEL: Russel is the muggle studies professor. Unless Elaine takes his class, I foresee very little to no interaction.
SYLVIE: Sylvie is a circus performer at Cirque de Freya. I don't think she would even really know Elaine unless Elaine sought her out for a specific purpose. That's up to you. =)
