Mercedes "Mercy" Nott
5th year, Ravenclaw, Prefect, werewolf

The Notts are a pureblood family with a long history of being in Slytherin. Mercy's the first in centuries to be put anywhere else and her parents are disappointed in her for it. She's essentially an outcast in her family now and tries to make up for it by being an overachiever and perfectionist.

She was bitten by a werewolf when she was nine and hasn't told anyone about it, knowing her parents would definitely disown her if they knew. She's become almost a recluse at school, but does have a few friends in all houses and of any blood status. Anyone is welcome to sign up for this.

Romance-wise, she's not very experienced. She's had one or two boyfriends but broke things off with both of them before they could find out her secret. She has a hard time talking to most boys anyway. Not too many people needed for this part.

Mercy doesn't really have a lot of enemies or rivals. It's not like she goes out looking to pick a fight. But as she's Prefect, things come up that put her on the bad list of some people. Still, she tries not to get involved in anything if she can help it. Ideas welcome.

mercedes && lily
i can't see too much interaction between lily and mercedes. maybe they could know each other because of prefect duties and maybe mercedes could even kind of secretly look up to lily a bit. alongside looking up to her, mercedes could also resent lily, thinking that lily has everything she ever wanted and probably hasn't ever had to deal with anything as complicated as being turned into a werewolf. it could be really two-sided that way, ya know?


mercedes && kyndrick
i don't see kyndrick and mercedes really being friends or anything. i could see mercy being kind of intimidated by kyndrick perhaps? she could think kyndrick is older and more wild and crazy and that could be sort of foreign to mercy.


mercedes && holden
i would imagine mercedes would go out of her way to avoid holden avery. holden is a scray kind of a guy. mercedes would hate him on some level.


mercedes && russel
let me know if mercedes is a muggle studies student and then we can start plotting here if so.


mercedes && dax
this, i am excited for. dax and mercedes will had not had much to do with each other through school so far. but when dax accidentally finds out about mercedes being a werewolf, they're suddenly left trusting each other as friends. it turns into an almost brother/sister kind of a relationship? <3


mercedes && amelia
amelia is the head girl and would probably know mercedes, but i could only see a casual friendship for these two. they'd wave meek hellos in the halls and that would be the basis of their relationship.


mercedes && terria
!!!!!! mercy and kya should become really close. we could start out as simply as mercy sitting next to terria on the train to school. terria is new and doesn't know anyone. having a new friend would be a big deal to her. they have this weird feeling, like something is connecting them and they know that they're both different but neither has a clue what that thing is. later on, mercedes will realize terria is a vampire and terria will realize mercedes is a werewolf. i think, it could almost make them closer. they know what it's like to have their lives dramatically altered and how it feels to keep a huge secret from everyone.
