k guys, this is mycah. he's a 6th year and a hufflepuff. he's pretty social, but he's also very naive and immature as well. he's a big geek. like, he loves comic books and tremendously nerdy things. he's not a top of the class kinda guy. he's just kind of goofy and silly and mellow. he's a no-drama, fun-loving sort. he needs lots of friends from all houses, ages, genders, etc. he doesn't discriminate. i could see him having a potential girlfriend, but he's not dated anyone before now so, no past relationships. i'd love to plot with him a bit so, if you've got ideas, throw them my way. <3

The other maybe doesn't like the othe rat first or something? Maybe that would make things rather awkward since Coraline tends to hide her true desires and such. What do you think Tippy lala?

So, Gracie is also friendly and naive, and immature, and social, haha! I think they should be friends! Marlene, on the other hand, probably thinks he's a little bizarre, but inoffensive, so she doesn't mind being paired up with him in classes and will happily chat away, but wouldn't seek him out or anything. <3

I had this idea when I saw your post in the party thread. Rita has left Avery, though sexy as he is, in order to better see what's going on at the party. And I thought it would be perfect for her to bump into Mycah, literally, as she's on her way. I had this idea after I made my post and I wanted to ask you about it first. Then I thought it would be epic if Rita started falling for this kid instead of for Avery. And part of it would be Rita is annoyed that Ivan isn't interested in her (which might be a reason they break up...he thinks that's all she's after but..) it becomes more. I think it would be fun to play as like Rita's first real relationship, her first feelings of honest love (or infatuation) and how before that she had only just thought a guy was cute or sexy. That's my idea but it's totally up to you. [/center]

OKAYOKAYOKAY!!!!

Here's what we're gonna doooooo.

Rita runs into Mycah at the party and then things sort of fall together in this weird, abstract way. Mycah's not used to getting attention and flirting so, he doesn't really believe that Rita likes him in the beginning. People should be like, "Dude, Mycah, Rita is hitting on you." And Mycah's just sitting there like, "She's just a friendly girl!" And then, they start dating and it gets serious.

Mycah's never been in any kind of romantic relationship so, he won't know what to do with himself. He'll be so lost and ridiculous that Rita will be confused half the time just because he is. But he's the kind of sweet guy who will pick up on the by-the-book kind of romance. He'll get her flowers and constantly be holding doors open for her.

I don't see Mycah/Rita as a long term thing. I think that, after a while, it would be too much for Mycah. Rita can be so vindictive at times and Mycah is too good-natured. I think they would literally wear each other down. Maybe Rita would have to lie to Mycah a lot and Mycah would find out the truth about some of those lies and it would leave him feeling crushed.

That's where Coraline comes in. I could see Mycah and Cori having a really cute relationship. I think, in the beginning, they'd just be really close friends. It would be one of those, "I've known you forever and you're so sweet." type things for them both. They'd talk really often and neither would think the other is too weird or anything. And then, when Mycah/Rita blow up in everyone's faces and Rita starts doing her own thing, Mycah starts to see Cori in a new light. The energy between them changes and Mycah realizes that he really just wants to bring Coraline flowers and hold doors open for her for the rest of forever.

Then, we could get even more messy. Mycah and Cori could start dating and go into that blissful, honeymoon phase and Rita could be pissed!!!! She could be like, "Yeah, I've got Ivan, but this is not cool! I practically made Mycah into who he is!" Rita would want to disrupt the relationship in some way. I feel like, because she and Mycah really cared about each other and had that first relationship together, Rita wouldn't go after him in the beginning, in the initial gossip attack. She'd go straight for sweet, caring Coraline.

Cori would be crushed by it all. Rita would feel like she's won somehow. Mycah would be mad. The whole thing would make the Hogwarts papers either way. Aaaaannnnndddd that's where GRACIE COMES IN!!!!!!!!!

Mycah and Grace have been really close friends since the very beginning. They've always been close and they share this weird kind of bond. You know those people you can talk to no matter what's going on in either of your lives and regardless of all timing issues? That's how Mycah and Grace would be, would have always been. Grace is so silly and immature and Mycah is the same way. The two of them would sort of disappear into their own little la-la-land where everything is childish and nothing else matters. I could see them building blanket forts in the Hufflepuff common room and playing games of hide & seek in the library after hours. Grace would always be stupidly mistaking things and Mycah would always be explaining them to her in the wrong ways. They'd go together like PB&J.

When this whole thing goes down with Rita and Mycah, Grace would be totally in love with the idea of her friends dating. She'd laugh and go with it and be like, "My friends love each other. That is so cool!" And then, when it all goes to Hell, Rita feels like Grace will always be on her side, always take her point of view on matters. I think Grace should be talking to Mycah and Mycah would like, break down crying about everything. Grace would tap into the friendship they've had all along and she would feel a lot of sympathy for Mycah. Or empathy. I could see Grace sitting down and crying with him. Awwwww.

So, the war begins.... Inside Hogwarts... Via rumors and gossip. Rita is slandering Coraline and Grace is told to "just go with it." Grace exposes Rita for the entire thing with Mycah and then Coraline. Grace tries to hide it but let's face it, she's not the brightest crayon in the box. Rita finds out and has a huge bitch-fit. The girls fight it out. It would probably end okay, but then people would also question Rita after everything. The entire balance of their little gossip universe will have been thrown off. Do with that what you like.

JUST AN IDEA, BUT I LEGIT HOPE YOU GUYS GO FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!

DROMA - ugh omg she would completely adore him. she's a bit in your face though, so she might like try to squeeze his cheeks at one point but no worries cause she'll back off when you tell her too. anyway i can definitely see a sort of awkward friendship where she likes him more than he likes her? xD she has that effect sometimes. plus droma would like, not want to be seen anywhere near him if her sisters are around

REMUS- definite friendship here k yeah nuff said remus has got his back and give him advice like "no mycah you cant trust lucius malfoy because he'll stab you in the back with a jackhammer"

HUNTER - i can see hunt maybe bullying the kid? not like, really meanly, but in his hunter way. to be honest hunter would totally look past the kid completely most of the time cause he's quiet so hunter would just be like bro where did you come from and probably have days where he thinks the guy is invisible or when he just feels like insulting him for no reason

EVERETT - havent totally worked out the kinks and what nots of his boy but basically he's sort of that odd, quiet type as well and he's also pretty convinced his imaginary friend felix is a real person. ev is a little more anitsocial though, and currently questioning his sexuality. hes a clown at the circus but he only graduated last year. idk. maybe they could have known each other as kids or something or they could have been friends when everett was at hogwarts cause ev was a hufflepuff too idk here k yup k

I'm speechless right now. This plot is amazing! I adore it oh so much. I think it's just the thing to stir up drama around Hogwarts, and especially with all the geeky kids and Hufflepuffs! I simply applaud you Tippy for coming up with that and I am definitely game for it. I think that Rita and Mycah as a relationship would be first...very odd...I can imagine people doing a double take on the whole thing really. But Rita would honestly be into him, because lets face it, he is cute. And the fact that he would be so nice and caring would be wonderful because Rita isn't used to that except for Ivan and he's always been this kind of friend guy. (Until after he's going with Mar for a while and she realizes she wants him too.)

I also love love love the Gracie stuff too. I think it would be hilariously fun for Rita and Gracie to kind of go at it for a while, super cat fights over nothing...because Gracie doesn't exactly know all the details and Rita is so hot headed she'll start something before she realizes it's really just nothing. And it would just downwards spiral until they duke it out someday...but of course get back together. I can see Rita just needing that time to get over Mycah, her first real heart break...and then after that amount of time has passed she'll stop trying to over defend herself and hide behind her paper and she'll be okay with Mycah being with well...whoever he wants.

It's kind of like that first love, first burn thing. Oh man, awesome!
